Blame Gloria Covent Garden

Gloria always threw the wildest parties. She had the best legs in Soho. Some say she dated Hendrix. She taught Bowie how to do his make-up. She bought an old Chinese restaurant in Covent Garden. When people asked her to cook she refused. When She ran out of dosh she moved into the basement. Shestill…

Overall the entertainment was good but we found the service quite poor. The drinks took ages to come and when they did it was one jug between 6 people so we constantly only had a half glass full because we wasn't sure when the next jug was coming as when we asked for another one the people serving just seemed to ignore us. Also for £60 per person the choices of food was minimal and what did come out had all of us shocked it was a dry chicken burger with cold chips, I get that a limited menu is easier to produce more on a busy Saturday in London however if you are only going to supply a few meal options they should be at a better standard. If the entertainment wasn't as good we probably would have left after the first half hour.

Great vibe, amazing singer, plentiful drinks and lovely staff, however the drag act was mediocre and the food awful. The way the seating is arranged means that if you’re sat on the side you only see some of the act and get your food last so by the time we were eating everyone else was dancing.
